The English School of Lutenist Song Writers

The English School of lutenist Song Writers , also briefly English Lute Songs is an edition number to the English school of lute song - composer . It was based on original prints from the early 17th century and was published by Edmund H. Fellowes . It appeared in two series of 16 and 17 volumes, respectively. H. a total of 33 volumes, in London 1920–27. An edition revised by Thurston Dart and other volumes, indicated by the year, have been published since 1959.

According to editor Edmund H. Fellowes, the English school of lute song composers stands for itself as something without parallel in Europe at the time.
