The First Family is an American comedy album by Vaughn Meader from 1962. It parodied the life of the presidential family around John F. Kennedy in short scenes of just under three minutes . The comedian and voice imitator Vaughn Meader designed the album and spoke the equivalent of John F. Kennedy.

A sequel of the Grammy-winning work, which also included pieces of music, was taken off the market after Kennedy's murder, as was the album itself, which was then no longer available on the market for decades. In the meantime there is a CD and an MP3 version.

successes

The album became the best-selling and fastest-selling record in the history of the record industry and received two Grammys in 1963 for best album and best comedy performance of the year.

In the first two weeks of release, the album sold more than a million times. In late 1962 and early 1963 , the album was number one on the Billboard 200 album charts for a total of 12 weeks .
