Teddy and Annie - The Forgotten Friends (Original title: The Forgotten Toys ) is a British animated series that was produced between 1998 and 1999 . The story is based on the book by James Stevenson .

The teddy bear and the toy doll Annie fall out of the luggage of their new friends by a stupid coincidence and are henceforth on their own. So the two of them are now trying to find their way home and keep coming across new challenges and adventures.

The series was produced in the UK between 1998 and 1999. This resulted in 2 seasons with 26 episodes. Directed by Graham Ralph . On screenplay participated Mark Holloway and Ralph Graham. Link Entertainment Ltd. took over the production. London.
The German first broadcast took place on March 2, 1999 on KiKA . Later broadcasts also took place on ZDF and ORF eins . A Christmas special was published on December 25, 1999.
