Row of stones on Cosdon Hill

The Graveyard (also known as Cosden or Cawsand stone rows) is a triple row of stones with a small cairn on the eastern flank of Cosdon Hill in the far north of Dartmoor National Park in Devon ( England ).

Three parallel rows of stones run 1.5 m apart, starting from the cairn in an easterly direction down the slope. The upper part is well preserved. The length of the rows is still 140 m, originally it was probably 180 m.

The rows are not straight, but rather curved. The larger stones are close to the cairn. They are between 0.6 and 0.9 m high and, with a few interspersed exceptions, get smaller the further they are from the cairn. A large triangular stone block marks the top.
