The Guides (from English guide 'Führer, Wegweiser, Orientierungshilfe' ) are two islands overgrown with tussock grass off the north coast of South Georgia . They are located off the east side of the west side of the mouth of the Fortuna Glacier in the South Atlantic .
Participants of the Second German Antarctic Expedition (1911–1912) under the direction of Wilhelm Filchner mapped them. Your name appears on map material that was created during surveys by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations between 1926 and 1930.
