Vol. , Is a scientific journal published by SAGE-Verlag on behalf of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand . The journal was founded in 1969 under the title The Hand , expanded the name to The Journal of Hand Surgery - British Volume in 1984 , changed it to The Journal of Hand Surgery - British and European Volume in 1993 , before changing the name to The Journal of Hand Surgery in 2007 - European Volume has been shortened.
