The Life of Mammals (Original: The Life of Mammals ) is a ten-part nature documentary series by David Attenborough about the life of mammals .

Production and other publications

The series was produced by the BBC in 2002 and was also released on DVD in 2006. The first broadcast on television was on the BBC on November 20, 2002. The German first broadcast on free TV took place on September 25, 2004 on Bavarian television . Further broadcasts could be seen in the years 2005 to 2008 in various channels of the ARD . In 2009 the series ran on Animal Planet and BBC Entertainment , the most recent broadcast was from December 15, 2009 to June 27, 2010 on BBC Entertainment. Further broadcasts were in Finland, Hungary, Sweden, Greece and Australia.
