BBC Entertainment is the BBC's English language television channel for the whole family.
BBC Entertainment broadcasts a full 24-hour program from London to all viewers living abroad with British entertainment, language and educational offers as well as current TV hits and classics. Among other things, shows , series and documentaries from the archives of the BBC are broadcast.
It started broadcasting in October 2006 when BBC Entertainment first replaced BBC Prime in Asia.
BBC Entertainment is broadcast digitally via satellite and can be received on cable as part of the program bouquets from KabelKiosk , Vodafone Kabel Deutschland , AonTV , wilhelm.tel and UPC Austria .
Broadcasting in the following German cable networks has been suspended since 2013: Kabel Baden-Württemberg and Unitymedia .
