BBC Prime

BBC Prime was the BBC's English language television station .

It started broadcasting on October 26, 1995 together with the British news channel BBC World . BBC Prime programs ran on DF1 as part of an agreement .

BBC Prime ceased broadcasting on November 11, 2009 and has since been replaced by the new BBC Entertainment channel .
