The New Addams Family ( The New Addams Family ) is an American-Canadian sitcom that from October 1998 to August 1999 on YTV was sent in Canada and Fox Family in the United States. It was produced by Shavick Entertainment and Saban Entertainment as a remake of the 1960 television series The Addams Family . Large parts of the plot of the old episodes have been taken over and adapted to modern times. The roles of Wednesday and Pugsley took up more space, whereby their violent and sadistic personality could be represented more strongly. The series was shot in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada . In Germany, the television series was first broadcast on October 1, 2000 on the pay-TV channel Fox Kids. In 2004 it was broadcast on free TV by RTL Television .
