The O'Kaysions were an American blue-eyed soul band.
history
The duo Donnie Weaver and Jimmy Hennant founded a soul band in 1963 in Wilson / North Carolina together with Ron Turner, Jim Spidel, Wayne Pittman and Bruce Joyner under the name The Kays. In the course of the following years the members changed several times and in 1967 the group was renamed The O'Kaysions. With the song Girl Watcher they had their biggest and only success in the US charts in 1968 and reached number 5.
