The Restless Years is an Australian soap opera that was produced from 1977 to 1981. The show was produced in Sydney for Channel Ten .

The Restless Years was used in 1990 in the Netherlands as a template for the series Goede tijden, slechte tijden, and in 1992 as a template for the German soap opera Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten .
