The School Nurse Files ( Korean original title: 보건 교사 안은영 ; RR : Bogeongyosa Aneunyeong ) is a South Korean drama series with mystery , fantasy and comedy elements based on the novel by Chung Serang . The series will appear worldwide on Netflix on September 25, 2020 with German synchronization .

The school nurse Ahn Eun-young has psychic abilities, and through them can see the supernatural creatures called jellies, which are only visible to her. The jellies are lump-like creatures that Hong In-pyo accidentally frees when he opens the seal behind which the jellies were trapped in the school basement. Very soon Ahn Eun-young realizes that mysterious events are taking place at the school and goes into the fight against the jellies to protect the school and its students.
Ahn Eun-young receives support from Hong In-pyo, who is not only a Chinese teacher, but also the grandson of the school founder, and thus has a special interest in protecting the school. Ahn Eun-young discovers that Hong In-pyo has powers that improve her skills and protect her. And so the new school nurse and the man who is both the cause and the potential solution to the problems fight side by side from now on. But between Ahn Eun-young, who has so far fought a lonely battle against the slimy world of jellies, and the naturally curious Hong In-pyo, a humorous tension develops. Will the circumstance-thrown unequal couple manage to become a unified and efficient team to hold their own in the battle against the jellies?

On December 19, 2018, Netflix announced that it would produce a 6-part series adaptation of the South Korean novel School Nurse Ahn Eun-young . The writer of the novel Chung Serang also wrote the scripts for the series, while Lee Kyoung-mi took over the direction, who previously contributed the script and also directed an episode of the Netflix anthology series Persona . The series was produced by Oh! On behalf of Netflix. Boy Project, which is a subsidiary of KeyEast.
Along with the announcement of the series, Netflix announced that the protagonist will be played by Jeong Yu-mi . On March 8, 2019, it was confirmed that Nam Joo-hyuk had joined the main cast. The series was shot in the summer of 2019.
