The Skreppers are a psychobilly band founded in Finland in the mid-1990s . The music of the Skreppers shows elements from punk , psychobilly and rock 'n' roll .
In terms of lyrics, the band mainly deals with the sexual world and does so in great detail, which becomes clear in songs like Translucentsexxxexpress or Make Love Muslim Girl .
The frontman is “Special K”, also known under the name Hiili Hiilesmaa , who has already produced bands such as The 69 Eyes , Moonspell and HIM . For the latter, the Skreppers have often worked as a support act.
In 1999 the first album Splish, Splash! Every night? after various concerts in Finland, Sweden and Germany . In 2002 the album Hedonist Hellcats followed and they began to travel a little more widely across Europe. After a label change, the group released the album Call Of The Trash in 2004 and the fourth album, Pain In The Right Place, followed two years later .
