The Soviettes were a four-member US - punk band from Minneapolis , Minnesota . It consisted of guitarists Annie and Sturgeon as well as Suzy ( bass ) and Danny ( drums ). Their sound is assigned to the Riot Grrrl genre. The band released a total of three studio albums until they split up in 2006.
