(1982)

The Survivors Live is a live album by Johnny Cash , Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis , released in 1982 on Columbia Records . All pieces were recorded in Böblingen on April 23, 1981 , when the three musicians surprisingly performed together. Actually only Cash was supposed to sing that evening; Perkins and Lee Lewis were also on a European tour and joined Cash. The three musicians had been signed to Sun Records at the beginning of their careers and had already given concerts together during this time.

On the last song of the recording, I Saw the Light , the three singers were supported by Cash's son John Carter Cash and his daughter Cindy.
