The Weathermen

The Weathermen was a Belgian music project founded in 1985 by producer Jean-Marc Lederman (Kid Montana) and singer and multimedia artist Bruce Geduldig, a member of the California band Tuxedomoon , which resided in Brussels during the 1980s . The Weathermen played music between new wave, electro-pop and funk music. Some of her pieces, including (Let Them Come to) Berlin , are attributed to the EBM .

The band was traded as an American newcomer for marketing reasons , although only Bruce Geduldig - born in Sacramento - had American roots. Her biggest hit was Poison , a funk music-influenced hip-hop piece released in 1987 , which was remixed in 1988 by Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti ( OFF , 16 BIT ) and rose to the German single charts .

Bruce Geduldig died in March 2016 at the age of 63 of complications from liver disease.
