Theater youth clubs are theater groups set up at many city theaters that offer young theater enthusiasts, mostly between 16 and 23, a variety of opportunities to deal with the medium of theater.

The national meeting of theater youth clubs has been held annually on a German stage since 1990, where every youth club can apply and a jury of experts presents selected productions. These are intended to make the breadth and diversity of the working methods of youth clubs nationwide visible.
Another youth club meeting is the Unruhr festival in the Ruhr area , which takes place in a theater of the youth clubs.
