The Themistoklis class is a Greek ship class of destroyer escorts . It comprises three Hunt-Class Type II ships that Greece took over from the Royal Navy between 1943 and 1946. They were formally returned to the United Kingdom on December 12, 1959 , but canceled in Greece the following year.

The HMS Cowdray was also intended for transfer to the Greek Navy . However, the beginning of the Greek Civil War prevented the surrender.
