history

With the founding of Then Comes Silence in 2012, the music group released their first album. After various appearances at various music festivals, the second album Then Comes Silence II was released in the following year , coupled with the singles She Lies In Wait and Can't Hide . In 2015 the third album Nyctophilian - Then Comes Silence III follows . In 2016 Then Comes Silence signed a contract with the German label Nuclear Blast .

style

Then Comes Silence's music is described as "multi-faceted Goth-Rock with a good understanding of contemporary post-punk and noise". The musicians named DAF and Killing Joke as influences. In addition , reviewers mention Beastmilk , Bauhaus and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry as potential influencing factors.

The musical concept would consist of "driving keyboards, temporary, light metal tones and an additional shot of Shoegaze", which means Then Comes Silence would also be close to Gothic Rock "around the turn of the millennium". "Slight Western echoes in the guitar parts" would also suggest influences from the Fields of the Nephilim . The singing is considered to be used sporadically and has a lot of reverb.
