Theo Maas

Theo Maas (born August 18, 1957 in Borth ) is a German manager and chairman of the Siemens Gas Turbines Global division .

Life

Theo Maas studied aerospace engineering at the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and graduated with a diploma (FH). Immediately after graduation, he began his career in 1981 at Siemens AG , at the site Wesel . After the takeover of Flender by the Siemens group, Theo Maas headed the global industrial gear business from 2006 to 2008 and was appointed to the board of directors of Flender AG in 2008. On April 1, 2010, he took over the management of the group from Manfred Egelwisse and is also head of the Siemens “Mechanical Drives” business unit. In the summer of 2015 he moved to Berlin, where he is now CEO of Siemens’s Gas Turbines Global division.

Theo Maas is married and has two sons.
