Theodoor Theo van der Horst (born July 18, 1921 in Arnhem , Netherlands , † October 9, 2003 in Arnhem , Netherlands) was a Dutch painter, sculptor, graphic artist and glass painter.

Van der Horst painted people, animals and landscapes in an expressionist style. In addition to oil paintings , he made etchings , drawings , gouaches , sculptures and glass paintings . He presented himself at exhibitions in galleries and museums until the 1970s , but then he decided to live as a hermit. He died in Arnhem in October 2003 at the age of 82.
