Theobald VI. of Blois ( French. Thibaut VI. de Blois ; † April 1218 in La Ferté-Villeneuil ) was from 1205 to 1218 Count of Blois and Châteaudun , Chartres , Clermont-en-Beauvaisis .

He was the son of Count Ludwig , who died on the Fourth Crusade in 1205 , and Catherine of Clermont. His two marriages, the first to Mathilde von Alençon , the second to Clemence des Roches, remained childless.

He fought against the Moors in Castile , where he was attacked by leprosy . After his return he lived in seclusion in his castle in La Ferté-Villeneuil until his death in 1218 . He left his possessions to his aunts Margarete and Isabella . The northern part became the County of Chartres for Elizabeth , the rest of the southern part went to Margaret as County Blois . Theobald sold the county of Clermont-en-Beauvaisis to the Crown shortly before his death.
