Theodor von Juergensen
Theodor von Jürgensen (born April 11, 1840 in Flensburg ; † May 8, 1907 ) was a German physician.
Theodor von Jürgensen studied medicine in Kiel, Breslau and Tübingen, where he received his doctorate in 1863. He taught in Kiel from 1864 as a private lecturer and from 1869 as associate professor and head of the polyclinic, and in 1873 he became a full professor as director of the polyclinic in Tübingen.
He dealt with cardiology, lung diseases (pneumonia) and infectious diseases such as measles.
On July 21, 1886 ( matriculation number 2588 ) he became a member of the Leopoldina .
