Theodor Landis

Theodor Landis (* 1945 in Zurich ) is a Swiss neurologist .

Life

Landis studied medicine at the University of Zurich , where he received his doctorate under Paul Frick in 1977 and habilitation in neurology in 1989. From 1994 to 2010 he was full professor of neurology at the University of Geneva and head of the neurological clinic at the Hôpitaux universitaires de Genève . At the University of Geneva, he headed the Department of Clinical Neuroscience. From 1995 to 1997 he was President of the Swiss Neurological Society . In 2007 he was awarded the Théodore Ott Prize of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (together with Reinhard Stocker ) .
