The Theodor rock is a cliff rock off the south coast of South Georgia . It is halfway between Annenkov Island and the Pickersgill Islands .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1930 and named it after the Norwegian harpooner Theodor Hansen of the Southern Pride whaler , who helped identify and measure the rock.
