Theodor Trumpler (born April 7, 1907 , † January 16, 1992 ) was a German football player.

Career

Trumpler came to Frankfurter Eintracht in 1929 from the Germania Ginnheim district association. In his first season in 1929/30 Trumpler was able to celebrate the Riederwäldern's first South German championship title, in the quarterfinals of the final of the German championship his two goals against Holstein Kiel were not enough, Eintracht were eliminated 2: 4. Two years later, in the 1931/32 round , the Riederwälder won the southern German title again and made it to the final in the subsequent final . There, as they did in the South German final, Eintracht met Bayern Munich , but lost 2-0 in this encounter.

The technically adept Trumpler, playing in the half-right attack position, was a fixture at Eintracht in those years and was appointed several times in the south and south-west German selection. In 1936 he ended his career in high-class football. When Eintracht in the Gauliga season 1941/42 due to the war there was a lack of players, he jumped in again in six league games.
