Therese Bichsel-Spörri

Therese Bichsel-Spörri (mostly just Therese Bichsel ), baptismal name: Maria Theresia Spörri (* 1930 ; † June 11, 2005 ) was a Swiss actress .

She was married to the writer Peter Bichsel since 1956 and was the mother of a daughter and a son. Therese Bichsel became known to a larger audience through her roles, which she played at the Landschaftstheater Ballenberg . Here she appeared in Romeo and Juliet in the village or in Elsi, the strange maid (based on Jeremias Gotthelf 's novel of the same name). She also enjoyed success at the Theater am Neumarkt in Zurich , for example in plays by Friedrich Dürrenmatt . Bichsel was also heard and seen in radio plays and films. In 2000 she was awarded the Solothurn Theater Prize.
