Therese Rotzer-Mathyer

Therese Rotzer-Mathyer (born December 28, 1964 ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ) and Nidwalden district administrator .

life and career

Rotzer-Mathyer was a member and vice-president of the Nidwalden Higher Court from 2004 to 2010 and president of the cantonal attorney's and certification committee from 2010 to 2014. Since 2014 she has been a member of the Nidwalden District Administrator and President of the CVP Nidwalden. She works as an independent lawyer and notary .

In the elections to the Council of States on October 18, 2015 , Rotzer-Mathyer ran to succeed Paul Niederberger . It lost 42.6% to Hans Wicki , who achieved 54.5%.

Therese Rotzer lives in Ennetbürgen , is married and has two children.
