The Brammah I is a mountain in Kishtwar Himalaya , a mountainous region in the western Himalayas in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir .
The 6416 m high glaciated mountain is located in the Kishtwar National Park in the Kishtwar District . The Sickle Moon (6574 m) is 13 km northeast. The Brammah II (6425 m) as the closest higher mountain is 11.32 km east-southeast.
The Brammah I lies in the catchment area of the right-hand Chanab tributary of the Marau . The district capital Kishtwar is 34 km southwest of Brammah I.
The Brammah I was first climbed on August 24, 1973 by the two Britons Nick Estcourt and Chris Bonington over the southeast ridge.
