Marie Thérèse Vestris , also Teresa Vestris (* 1726 in Florence , † 1808 in Paris ) was an Italian dancer.

Thérèse was a daughter of Tommaso Marin Ippolito Vestris (eigtl. Vestri), of whose seven children a total of three took up the dance profession: Thérèse, Gaetano , (1728-1808) and Angiolo (1730-1809).

Therese Vestris studied in Naples and made her debut in Palermo. She danced in Vienna, where she became the maitresse of Prince Esterhazy . Empress Maria Theresa was indignant about this and ordered her to go to Dresden. After a stay in Florence, she came to the Opéra National de Paris in 1746 , where she became the maitresse of the dancer Jean Lany . Through this contact, she prepared the ground for the Paris Opera for her brothers too. In Paris she performed as a soloist from 1751 to 1766 and took part in the steep career of her brothers.
