Therese Zauser
Therese Zauser (* 1905 in Feldkirch , † 1942 in Ravensbrück ) was an Austrian variety and expression dancer.
Therese Zauser, who comes from a family of civil servants in Feldkirch, appeared in the 1930s under the stage name “Therese Judith” on tours through the Middle East, North Africa and West Africa. Her brother Karl Zauser was a member of the trapeze group "The 5 Artonis" at the Sarrasani circus .
In 1941 Therese Zauser was arrested after a statement critical of the regime (“Nobody takes me to an armaments factory”) and murdered in the Ravensbrück concentration camp the following year .
