Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (Hamburg)
The Thesaurus Linguae Graecae is a research center founded by Bruno Snell in 1944 at the Institute for Greek and Latin Philology at the University of Hamburg . In two departments she devoted herself to long-term lexicographical projects in the field of Greek studies , which should work towards a complete collection of the entire ancient Greek vocabulary, analogous to the project of the Thesaurus Linguae Latinae .
In the first section, “ Hippocratic Research”, an index Hippocraticus was created, commonly known as the “Hippocratic Lexicon”. The other section was completed in 2010 with the “ Lexicon of the Early Greek Epic ”.
