Thomas Bælum (born June 5, 1978 in Aalborg ) is a Danish football player .
The defender Thomas Bælum played from January 2004 to 2006 at MSV Duisburg and made promotion to the Bundesliga with the "Zebras" in 2005 . Bælum played 77 games, scoring three goals for MSV. After relegation moved to the Netherlands to Willem II Tilburg .
Before his time in Duisburg, the defender played from July 1998 to December 2003 for the Danish first division club Aalborg BK . He played 220 games for the club and became Danish champions in 1999.
In the U21 national team of Denmark Bælum came 18 times used.
