Thomas Borenitsch (born December 19, 1980 in Eisenstadt ) is a former Austrian football player .
Career
The trained plumber from Antau in Burgenland switched from his home club to SV Mattersburg in the summer of 2000 . He celebrated his greatest success with SV Mattersburg's entry into the ÖFB Cup final of the 2005/06 season , which was clearly lost 3-0 to FK Austria Wien . Borenitsch made his debut in the Bundesliga on May 20, 2004 against FC Superfund Pasching . In his first game he had to accept four goals in the 4-0 defeat.
Coaching career
For the 2016/17 season he ended his career and took over the post of goalkeeper coach at SV Mattersburg .
