life and work

The author originally worked as an official for the State Criminal Police Office in North Rhine-Westphalia . But even as a nine-year-old he loved to write and wanted his own typewriter. Due to the rigid structures in the civil service, he quit this in 1999 and started his own advertising agency . In 2010 he wrote his first novella. It is important to him, the imagination to stimulate the reader. According to his own statement, he wants to provide entertainment in an emotional, funny or exciting way . He succeeds, also according to his own statement, by putting himself in the role of a later, fictional director who will film his book while writing. The result are stories whose scenes and, above all, their cuts correspond to those of a film that can run in the mind of the reader in this way. He does indeed use crime stories, but is not limited to any genre. Literary, philosophical or paranormal stories come from his pen, but always designed as novellas. All of his books appear in classic consumer publishers and also as e-books and audio books. Three of his books have now been translated into English in the United States.

Dellenbusch also founded KopfKino Verlag , which specializes in short stories and novels.
