He acquired in 1994 the diploma in industrial engineering at the University of Siegen and 1998 promotion to Dr. rer. pole. in victories . From 1995 to 2003 he was a doctoral student and research assistant / assistant at Rüdiger Pethig , University of Siegen. In 2003 he taught as a private lecturer in economics at the University of Siegen. From 2004 to 2005 he was a professor of economics , especially finance, at the University of Bonn . From 2006 to 2007 he represented the professorship for economics, in particular finance, at the University of Mainz . From 2007 to 2009 he taught as a professor of economics, in particular Quantitative Economic Policy at the University of Bielefeld . Since 2009 he has been a professor of economics, in particular finance, at the FernUniversität Hagen .
