Thomas Fearn

Thomas Fearn (born November 15, 1789 in Pittsylvania County , Virginia , † January 16, 1863 in Huntsville , Madison County , Alabama ) was an American politician .

He served in the United States Army during the British-American War . He was later a member of the Alabama State Legislature . After the Alabama secession , he was elected to the Provisional Confederate Congress , but resigned after the first session on March 16, 1861.

Thomas Fearn is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery , Huntsville. He was the father of Sally Fearn, who was married to William Taylor Sullivan Barry .
