Thomas Freimuth (born September 8, 1980 ) is a German cross-country skier .

Freimuth only contested a few races in the World Cup at the beginning of his international career. In 2001 he was able to achieve a 45th place in the sprint as the best place. In the meantime he has specialized in long distance races and is one of the international leaders there. He achieved his best placement in the FIS Cross-Country Skiing Marathon Cup in 2006 with a 4th place in the Engadin Skimarathon . In 2009 he won the Arctic Circle Race in Greenland.

Since the 2011–2012 season he has been a member of the Austrian FIS Marathon Team, Skinfit Racing . He and the team will take part in the FIS Cross-Country Skiing Marathon Cup.
