European Ski Marathon Championships
The ski marathon European Championships (officially European Ski Championships Marathon ) is an Open Championship in Ski Marathon is held annually since 2010 and the European Ski Marathon Association organized.

The European Championship was held in two different locations from 2010 to 2012 and from 2013 it will only be held in one location.
Regulations
Race & length
The European Championship consists of two valuation races. It is run in classic (CT) and free technique (FT). The two valuation races are added together. One race must be at least 42 km and the second should be at least 30 km. The maximum length of 50 km should not exceed.
License
Only athletes who have the EUC license are allowed to take part in the European Championship, they must also be in possession of a valid license (Euroloppet Pass) and who are 18 years of age by 01.01. of the year of the event.
Awarding of titles
The title award consists of two races:
- EM individual ranking women plus class ranking
(Jun, D21, D31, D36, D41, etc.)
- EM individual ranking men plus class ranking
(Jun, H21, H31, H36, H41 etc.)
- EM team ranking
(4 team members - the 3 best are rated)
There will be trophies and medals
- Ladies place 1 to 3
Ski marathon EM trophies & medals: gold, silver, bronze
- Men place 1 to 3
Ski marathon EM trophies & medals: gold, silver, bronze
- Team place 1 to 3
Ski Marathon EM trophies & medals: gold, silver, bronze, per team runner
Class scoring: Winner medals for each class (women and men) gold, silver, bronze
Starting grid
The starting grid is regulated as follows:
For the first race, the 15 best men and the 5 best women of the final ranking of the European championship of the previous year stand in the EM Elite series. For the second race, the 15 best men and the 5 best women are in the EM elite row after the first race.
