The Euroloppet series combines a total of 15 cross-country marathon races across Europe. About 42,000 cross-country skiers take part in this racing series, which is organized by the European Ski Marathon Association (EUC). Among the participants are mainly recreational athletes, but many World Cup athletes also enjoy the special flair of these mass sports events.

After successfully participating in eight different Euroloppet events (short or long distance) in a maximum of 10 years, you receive the title of Euroloppet Champion . If you take part in three different Euroloppet races within one year, you will also be awarded the title of Euroloppet Racer .

In addition, the European Ski Marathon Association organizes the European Ski Marathon Championships every year as part of the Euroloppet races. In addition to top athletes, amateur runners can also compete for the title of European Ski Marathon Champion in an overall ranking and in age groups (5 annual steps).
