Thomas Glöckner
Thomas Glöckner (born July 27, 1961 ) is a German architect .
Shortly before the death of Günther W. Wörrlein, Thomas Glöckner took over the architectural office he founded in 1972. His first major competition success was the 1st prize for the central stadium in Leipzig.
His company Glöckner Architektur und Städtebau GmbH in Nuremberg was commissioned in September 2005 with the construction of the Olympic Hall National Indoor Stadium Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . It prevailed against 800 competitors. The National Indoor Stadium is one of the most successful event locations in China today.
