Thomas Hess (screenwriter)
Thomas Hess (* 1968 in Winterthur ) is a Swiss film director and screenwriter .
Life
Hess was born in Winterthur in 1968 . In 1999 he graduated with a degree in film / video from the Zurich University of the Arts . This was followed by various works in the areas of scriptwriting, assistant director and directing. In 2000, his short film Invitation to the Country was nominated for the Narcisse Award at the Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival . In 2008, 2009 and 2018 nominations for the Swiss Film Award in the Best Screenplay category followed .
