Thomas Heyer (born March 15, 1959 in Bad Godesberg ) is a German radio and television journalist, author, media trainer and coach. Heyer is the presenter of the TV show Current Hour on WDR television , and until 2010 also presenter of the cultural program Corso - Culture after three on Germany radio .

biography

Heyer has been a moderator, author and producer for public broadcasters since 1979. He began his career at SWF 3 , working for NDR , Deutsche Welle , RIAS and ZDF , among others .

Since 1996 Thomas Heyer has moderated the daily information magazine of the WDR, the current hour.

Since 2015 he can also be seen in the news magazine WDR Aktuell. He was active as a trainer and coach at ems in Potsdam , the Adolf Grimme Academy and the Deutsche Welle Academy. He is still involved in further training in journalism within ARD at WDR, SWR and RBB.

Thomas Heyer and his son Sebastian have been running the Heyer und Heyer agency in Bad Honnef since 2014 - a communications consultancy specializing in performance, presentation and media training.
