Thomas Kreuzer (theologian)

Thomas Kreuzer (* 1967 ) is a German theologian and communications specialist, employee and managing director of the Fundraising Academy in Frankfurt am Main .

Life

Kreuzer studied theology and communication studies in Frankfurt, Rome and Heidelberg. He completed the vicariate and passed the second ecclesiastical examination in theology, then he did his doctorate in theology (social ethics). Since 1999 he has been an employee and head of the Fundraising Academy, a non-profit subsidiary of the joint venture of Protestant journalism , the German Fundraising Association and the German Donation Council . He is a member of the Presidium of World Vision Germany . Since 2007 he has been chairman of the Frankfurt Bible Society . In 2019 he received the German Fundraising Prize for his outstanding personal commitment to the development of fundraising in Germany.
