Thomas Loose (born January 19, 1964 in Bottrop ) is a former German slalom canoeist .

He started his career in the two-man canoe (C2), his partner was Frank Hemmer . With him he was able to bring the world title in 1989 in Savage River . He also won the bronze medal with the team in the same year. He won third place in the team two more times, the first time in 1987 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice , France , and a third time at the 1991 World Championships in Tacen .

At the Olympic Games in 1992 he started with Hemmer for the German team, but as a gold hope they finished in a disappointing 13th place.
