Thomas M. Schmidt

Thomas M. Schmidt (* 1960 ) is a German philosopher and Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Schmidt studied Roman Catholic theology and philosophy . Since 2003 he has been Professor of Philosophy of Religion in the Department of Catholic Theology and co-opted Professor at the Institute for Philosophy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . His main areas of work include philosophy of religion, political philosophy , discourse theory and German idealism .
