Knut Wenzel
Knut Wenzel (* 1962 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
From 1983 to 1989 Wenzel studied Roman Catholic theology and German at the University of Regensburg . In 1996 he completed his doctorate in Catholic theology with a thesis on narrative theology. In 2002 Wenzel took part in dogmatics and the history of dogmas with a thesis on theological anthropology . Wenzel has been Professor of Systematic Theology and Fundamental Theology at the University of Frankfurt since 2007 . He is a signatory of the memorandum “ Church 2011: A Necessary Awakening ”.
