Thomas Niklaus (born January 24, 1965 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Thomas Niklaus came to SpVgg Unterhaching in 1986 through Post SV Nürnberg , TSV Altenfurt and 1. FC Nürnberg . With Unterhaching he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1989/90 season and made 37 appearances and seven goals in his first season in the professional field, but could not prevent his immediate relegation to the Bayern League . In 1992 he was promoted again and Niklaus scored a goal for Unterhaching in 18 games, but rose again at the end of the season with SpVgg in the Bayern League.
