Thomas Owen (writer)
Thomas Owen (aka Gérald Bertot ; born July 22, 1910 in Leuven ; † March 2, 2002 in Brussels ) was a Belgian writer.
Bertot was a criminal defense attorney by profession. Under the name of Thomas Owen he wrote more than 300 fantastic horror stories and is considered to be the most important representative of fantastic literature in Belgium in the 20th century , alongside Jean Rey , with whom he was on friendly terms, and Jean Muno .
